Relevance Is a System, Not a Mood
Brand, marketing, and creative direction should share one score.
Most brands do not have a creativity problem. They have three teams optimizing three different definitions of success, then calling the argument taste.
Brand wants to be remembered. Marketing wants to be chosen this quarter. Creative wants the work to be undeniable. None of those aims is wrong. The damage starts when they are briefed apart and reconciled in the comments.

A useful system is smaller than a framework deck. One audience. One tension. One proof. One number that would tell you, ninety days later, whether the work did the job you hired it for. Everything else is decoration until that line is written.
I use the same test with founders and with in-house teams. If a piece of content cannot be traced back to the tension, it does not ship, however fashionable it looks on a Monday. If a media plan cannot name the memory it is buying, it is rent, not investment.
Relevance is not a feeling you catch in a trend report. It is the discipline of making brand, marketing, and craft answer to the same sentence.
